This special newborn photography session was dedicated to celebrating the very first month of baby Nevin’s life.
Before the shoot, Nevin’s mother, Anjah, shared a meaningful request with our team. She hoped to recreate the newborn portraits of her first son so that the photographs of both siblings could one day be displayed side by side in the family’s gallery. We were honored to help bring this vision to life.
For the session, our crew traveled to the family’s private residence and transformed a corner of their home into a comfortable newborn photography studio. To create the soft, timeless look that newborn portraits are known for, we set up near a large window and used the natural light filtered through sheer curtains. With the help of a beanbag, layered blankets, and carefully selected neutral fabrics, we created a cozy and safe posing area for baby Nevin.
We began the session while Nevin was peacefully asleep. This allowed us to focus on capturing the tiny details that make the newborn stage so precious—his delicate eyelashes, tiny fingers and toes, button nose, and sweet little expressions. These close-up photographs preserve the fleeting features that change so quickly during the first few weeks of life.
As the session continued, we introduced a selection of newborn props, including a small bed and woven nest, paired with different wrap styles to create a variety of looks. Throughout the shoot, we followed Nevin’s pace, allowing plenty of time for feeding, cuddles, and comforting breaks whenever needed.
To conclude the session, we captured a series of lifestyle family portraits with Mom and Dad. These images celebrate not only the arrival of baby Nevin but also the beginning of an exciting new chapter as the family embraces life with two children.
The entire experience was relaxed, smooth, and filled with beautiful moments. We would like to sincerely thank Anjah and her family for welcoming us into their home and trusting our team to document such an important milestone.
