How to Prepare for a Pet Photoshoot in Hanoi

A pet photoshoot is a chance to celebrate your companion and the connection you share. A little preparation helps us understand your pet and plan portraits that suit them. At Very Dep in Tay Ho, Hanoi, start by telling us whether you would like portraits of your pet alone, photographs together, or a mix of both.

Tell us about your pet before the session

Share their name, species, size and personality when you enquire. Let Minh know if they are shy around strangers, sensitive to new surroundings or uncomfortable being picked up. Mention any mobility needs and whether another person will come with you. These details help the team discuss a suitable approach before you arrive.

Bring familiar essentials

Pack water, a bowl, a lead or secure carrier as appropriate, and a favourite toy or blanket. If your pet usually responds to treats, bring a small supply of their familiar treats and tell the team about any dietary restrictions. Keeping their normal routine is more useful than introducing new food or an unfamiliar grooming routine just before the shoot.

Choose outfits for photographs together

Wear something comfortable that lets you sit, bend and interact naturally with your pet. Simple colours and limited patterns keep attention on your connection. Think about your pet’s colouring when choosing clothes, and bring a lint roller or a spare top if helpful. Let us know about any accessories you would like to include so we can discuss them in advance.

Aim for personality, not perfect behaviour

Your pet does not need to perform a long list of tricks. Tell us what gets their attention and what they enjoy doing with you. Favourite interactions can be a useful starting point for portraits. If you are concerned about how your pet will respond to a studio, ask Minh before booking; the team can discuss what is practical for your particular companion.

Which package should I choose?

The current pet portrait package is 4,800,000 VND and includes 15 retouched digital images, 90 minutes for preparation and photography, one pet and one to two people, with hair and makeup for two people. Check the service page for the full inclusions. For multiple pets or a different setup, describe your idea and ask for the appropriate arrangements and quote.
