Two years ago, Cheri reached out to Justin, our founder, to plan a photoshoot with her husband. But the plan shifted, and instead, she wanted to surprise her best friend Kathy to celebrate their decade-long friendship.
The shoot took place in Hanoi’s Old Quarter, capturing not just beautiful images but the city’s charm and history. Cheri and Kathy spent the morning exploring iconic spots like Hoan Kiem Lake, the Opera House, and bustling streets, letting the city’s energy shape their photos. Their warm personalities made the session feel spontaneous and natural.
Before the shoot, they had makeup and hair done for a fresh, natural look that complemented the vibrant surroundings. The timing was perfect, too—just before Vietnam’s Tet holiday. The streets were alive with cherry blossoms and festive decorations, adding cultural depth to the photos.
What stood out most was the genuine bond between Cheri and Kathy. Their laughter, love, and willingness to do anything for the perfect shot made the photos come alive. This session was more than just pictures—it was a celebration of friendship, renewal, and new beginnings.
